Yanayin OBD-II 6 & Yanayin 8 Bambanci:
- Yanayin 6→ Mafi kyau gabincikar al'amuran tsaka-tsakita hanyar nazarin bayanan gwajin da aka adana.
- Yanayin 8→ An yi amfani da shi dongwaji mai aiki da sarrafa kayan aiki, galibi ta kwararru ne.

Yanayin 6 (Sakamakon Gwajin Gano A Kan-Board - Kulawa Ba Cigaba ba)
Ma'anarsa
Yanayin 6 yana ba da dama gasakamakon gwaji don masu saka idanu marasa ci gaba- bincikar binciken da ke gudana kawai a ƙarƙashin takamaiman yanayi (misali, ingantaccen mai canza yanayin, amsa firikwensin oxygen).
Manufar
- Storessakamakon gwaji(wucewa/ gazawa) don abubuwan da ba a sa ido akai-akai.
- Yana bayarwacikakkun bayanai na lamba(misali, lokutan amsawar firikwensin, iyakoki masu inganci).
- Yana taimakawa tantancewakurakurai na lokaci-lokaciko lalacewar aiki.
Mabuɗin Tsarin Bayanai
- TID (Mai gane Gwaji)- Yana ƙayyade nau'in gwaji (misali, gwajin amsawar firikwensin oxygen).
- CID (Mai gano abubuwan da ke ciki)- Yana gano abin da aka gwada (misali, Bank 1 Sensor 1).
- Ƙimar Gwaji– Raw bayanai ko wucewa/ gazawa matsayi (misali, “0″ = wuce, “1″ = kasa).

Ma'anarsa
Yanayin 8 yana ba da izinikula da aiki subsystems abin hawa- amfani dagwada gwadawa, kunna abubuwan haɗin gwiwa, ko daidaita sigogi.
Manufar
- Tilasta masu kunna wuta (relays, bawuloli, da sauransu) yin aikidomin gwaji.
- Yana kwatanta yanayi(misali, EGR bawul buɗewa, kunna famfo mai).
- Amfani akula da hayaki mai alaka(misali, sabunta DPF a cikin motocin diesel).
Dokokin gama gari
- Kunna/KASHE masu sanyaya(don duba hanyoyin lantarki).
- Kunna famfon mai(don gwajin matsa lamba).
- Zagaya bawul ɗin EGR(don tabbatar da motsi).
- Fara sabunta DPF(a cikin injunan diesel).
